Ellie Piggott and British Rowing support International Women's Day with #PressforProgress. In a literal interpretation of this year's theme, female members of the British Rowing squad have released a video of themselves doing press-ups in a variety of locations. "I actually got the idea on a training camp when I was talking to a mentor I have," Piggott told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "Given the hashtag this year, we've taken quite a literal interpretation of that. "We are very lucky in rowing in that we pretty much have equal participation, and equal Olympic slots now. "We just wanted to do something that was fun, but also added momentum." And Piggott is hoping the weather will keep improving so it's warmer for training. "Hopefully we've seen the worst of it. "Pretty much from January until final trials in April it's training, testing... it's quite an intense period."
