'Britain's Favourite Weatherman' on his passion for art

Sarah Walker

Available for over a year

University of Reading graduate Tomasz Schafernaker has more recently become known for his incredible portraits of famous faces, including Dame Judy Dench and Sir David Attenborough. He told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker more about his love for art. Tomasz Schafernaker, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Weatherman: "It is only a few months ago that I started, this love for painting and creating has been dormant. "There came a point at the end of last summer where I thought I really miss my paint brushes and colouring pencils...so I did a couple of drawings of sharks. "I hadn't drawn a portrait before to be honest, so that was a first stab. "But you know there are so many talented people out there in the art world, and nowadays you just have to search through Instagram and there are people so talented it takes my breath away."
