'...if we're having fun, we're hoping the crowd is ...' - a look at the growth of professional wrestling in the Channel Islands

Sportscene

Available for over a year

Hands up - how many of you used to spend your Saturdays watching Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks on ITV's World of Sport? Professional wrestling was huge back in the day - but did you know that British grappling has actually experienced a bit of a resurgence in the past few years? Not only that - but we actually have our own federation, in the form of Channel Islands World Wrestling. Liam Nunn and Martin South are the people behind it - and have been speaking to our Sports Producer Jack Murley. PHOTO CREDIT: CIWW
