Work is under way on the first mosque to be built in the Western Isles. It is a semi-derelict store building in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, and is being converted into the place of worship by Architect Aihtsham Rashid. There has been a Muslim community in the Western Isles since 1945. More recently Syrian families have settled there. Aihtsham speaks to reporter Nasser Hanif about how he got involved in the project in this interview
