Available for over a year

The journalist, David Aaronovitch and the health psychologist, Dorothy Wade discuss the trauma of intensive care. Hallucinations and a psychotic episode are what David experienced during his time in intensive care after an operation went wrong, during which time he thought he was being prepared to be eaten by hospital staff. Dorothy describes some of the new ways to deal with the trauma which sometimes happens in intensive care.
