The rapper was released after serving five months of a two to four year sentence for violating the terms of his probation. The violation came after Meek Mill was arrested in New York whilst filming a music video. But a court granted him bail after a high profile campaign from stars including Jay-Z, Beyonce and Kevin Hart.
