The Alexa voice assistant will be programmed to encourage young people to demonstrate more manners, saying please and thank you, when giving orders to the artificial intelligence. Earlier this year the research company Childwise warned that youngsters who grew up accustomed to barking orders at Alexa, Google Assistant or other virtual personalities, might become aggressive in later dealings with humans.
