With the warm weather returning, migrants and refugees seeking a better life have once again been making the treacherous crossing to Europe’s southern shores. Conditions awaiting them there continue to be grim, as Scottish Episcopal minister the Rev Kirilee Reid witnessed while working in the massive Moria Camp on the Greek island of Lesbos. Even those who have made it to relative safety in Turkey now face an uncertain future. Having invited initially by the Government, they now face rising violence and intolerance from the population.
