Sally was not diagnosed as dyslexic as a child. Returning to teaching after having children, she became the special educational needs co-ordinator. During her training she joined the dots and realised what was wrong with her aged 50. Life began to make sense. She met Ginny at a group for tutors at Oxford University where they both worked as support for dyslexic students. Ginny said she was thinking of writing a book on dyslexia and did Sally want to help. It started as one book but has grown to a series of 4, with the first set to be published in 2018. Ginny was married and had two children and two degrees in physics before saw a list of dyslexic traits and said to her then husband 'I do all these things'. Having worked with the students at Oxford, she realised there was a space for a series of books to help people deal with how dyslexia affects their whole life. During their conversation they discuss their common experiences and how their ease of communication helps with their writing.
