Our Long Interview subject is with someone who is no stranger to Radio Scotland listeners. David Pratt is Contributing Foreign Editor to The Sunday Herald and long time war correspondent. In this interview, which contains details some people might find distressing, Gordon Brewer began by taking him back to his first sorties into Afghanistan at a time when the cold war was still with us, and the Soviet Union was trying, ahead of its own collapse, to take over another country.
