Sarah Wollaston: Boris Johnson should resign to oppose Heathrow expansion
Westminster HourAvailable for over a year
The senior Conservative backbencher Sarah Wollaston told The Westminster Hour that Boris Johnson should resign from the government “on a point of principle” in order to oppose the expansion of Heathrow. Pointing out that Greg Hands had stepped down as a minister in order to vote against Heathrow expansion – and that Phillip Lee had resigned over the direction of Brexit – Ms Wollaston said that it would be an opportunity for the Foreign Secretary "to actually put his money where his mouth is".
