Seven leaders of the Aum Shinrikyo - or "supreme truth" - cult have been executed in Japan. They were convicted of carrying out the 1995 Tokyo metro sarin nerve gas attack. Thirteen people were killed in Japan's worst ever terror attack. Aum Shinrikyo leader Shoko Asahara was one of those executed.
