Iconic Sheffield artist Pete McKee opens up about the influence of class in his work, and reflects on how his role as an artist has helped to shape his life. Pete McKee's work is inspired by his childhood, his home city of Sheffield, relationships and his huge love of music, and has seen him exhibiting all over the world. Famous fans and collaborators include Noel Gallagher, Richard Hawley, The Arctic Monkeys and Warp Films. Pete McKee's most recent exhibition 'This Class Works' is an exploration and celebration of the lives of the working class, and features guest contributions from Anthony Bennett, Jon McClure, Maxine Peake, and many more.
