ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Minute: On gun violence in Chicago

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Minute

Available for over a year

Chicago’s murder rate has fallen by a quarter in the first eight months of 2018, compared to the statistics for the previous year. Despite that improvement, the city still holds the unwanted title of the murder capital of the United States – with more than 300 killings so far in 2018. The first weekend of August was particularly violent – with more than 60 people being shot, 11 of them fatally.
