Religious groups trigger change in the gun industry

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

One of America's biggest gun manufacturers Ruger & Co is being forced to prepare a report on gun violence in the country and develop safer firearms. The move is largely due to a group of religious organisations who bought shares in Ruger in order to push for changed policies. They are part of a wave of new shareholder activists. We spoke to one of them, the Reverend David Schilling, senior programme director at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility.
