When tourists flocked to London for the Great Exhibition in 1851, they also got to try out something rather novel: opulent public toilets. Today, tourists in London aren't so lucky. That's because over the past eight years the number of public toilets in the UK has fallen by 13% because of increasingly squeezed budgets.
