The new House of Representatives will be the most diverse in US history. Ilhan Omar, voted in in Minnesota, is one of the first Muslim Representatives. Jacky Rosen defeated the incumbent Republican Senator, Dean Heller, in Nevada, and in Massachusetts, Ayanna Pressley has become the first black woman the state has ever elected to Congress.
