Saudi Arabia to limit oil production

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The OPEC group of oil exporting countries has signalled cuts to output are on the agenda of its next meeting, but the group's biggest producer, Saudi Arabia has already decided to curb oil output in December. OPEC is trying to reduce global supplies to shore up the price, after production of crude soared across the world, notably from the American shale oil industry. Stephen Schork, whose analysis of the energy markets is closely watched, tells the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Russell Padmore about the strategy of the OPEC group. (Image: A Saudi Aramco oil pump in the desert.
