Available for over a year
There are a growing number of pub closures in Britain. According to the Campaign for Real Ale, between January and June of this year 476 pubs shut. It can be especially tough in smaller towns and cities in the north of England and the midlands which have lost a lot of heavy industry and the jobs that went with them. But with a bit of imagination and a lot of effort, some pubs are bucking the trend. Elizabeth Hotson reports.
