Tear Gas: Made in the USA

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

Noor’s first interaction with tear gas was on Jan. 25, 2011, the first day of the Egyptian uprising in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. At 20 years old, he had been to political demonstrations before, but he had never seen so many people in the streets. He soon found out that some of the tear gas being fired in his direction was made in the United States.
