Turning the Tide on Climate Change

Good Morning Scotland

Available for over a year

The UN conference on climate change was extended this weekend to allow negotiators more time to finalise a deal on cutting greenhouse gas emissions. In the same week, NASA scientists reported that they had detected signs that large glaciers in East Antarctica are melting away leading to the possibility of rising seas levels. Bjorn Lomborg, director of the environmental think tank, the Copenhagen Consensus Centre, discusses the challenges politicians face in making effective climate change policy workable for domestic politics.
