Should New Zealand be granted longer Test series?

New Zealand are up to third in the Test world rankings, yet they haven't played a series longer than three Tests for just under twenty years. Their last four Test series was in 1999 in England, where they won 2-1. So is it time the Black Caps were treated with a bit more respect and granted longer Test series?
