Dogs of Chernobyl, Yeah It’s a Thing

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

There are hundreds of dogs living in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the descendents of pets left behind 33 years ago when the Ukrainian nuclear plant exploded. Until recently, it was illegal to remove any of those dogs from the exclusion zone, but now the Ukrainian government has had a change of heart. Lucas Hixson is the co-founder of the Clean Futures Fund, a group that helps rescue the dogs of Chernobyl.
