London and Capital Plc goes into administration

Money Box

Available for over a year

A firm with 14,000 investors who entrusted it with more than £200m of their money has been put into administration by its directors. Four weeks ago London Capital & Finance had its assets frozen by the regulator the Financial Conduct Authority. The regulator was concerned about how the firm promoted itself and that it offered ISAs when its assets were not suitable for that. Finbarr O’Connell is one of the administrators. (Speaking to Money Box’s Paul Lewis)
