The trial of former ministers in the Catalonian National Assembly has increased the divisions across the region and nationalist feelings across the rest of Spain. Clara Ponsati was one of those indicted along with the ministers now on trial successfully fought extradition proceedings, brought by the Spanish government, in Scotland. She returned to Scotland and her job as an Economics lecturer at St Andrews University after serving as a minister in Catalonia. Image © Reuters
