From our archives: Karl Lagerfeld on the 'spirit' of fashion

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Karl Lagerfeld - creative director of the fashion house Chanel for 36 years - has died following a short illness. The 85-year-old was an icon in the industry, with his haute couture shows considered the blockbusters of fashion week in Paris. His personal style of black suits, sunglasses and leather gloves became almost as famous as his designs. The German designer spoke to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Business team about his career six years ago and we revisit some of the highlights of that conversation.
