50 years ago this April, Robin Knox-Johnston made sailing history by becoming the first person to EVER sail non-stop around the world single-handedly. So, we thought it was only appropriate to honour that achievement in this trip into the Sportscene archive - and remember the time Sir Robin visited the Channel Islands. While he was here, he sat down with the veteran voice of Sportscene Richard Collinson - who wanted to know what possessed him to take on the challenge.
