'...it just gets hold of you, into your blood...' - Looe Rowing Club look ahead to the World Pilot Gig Championships

Jack Murley

Available for over a year

In less than a month's time, thousands of rowers will be in action on the Isles of Scilly for the World Pilot Gig Championships. It's arguably the biggest sporting event to hit Cornwall annually - and as 2019 marks the thirtieth anniversary of its founding, it promises to be an extra special year. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall will have full, comprehensive coverage of the entire event - with Jack Murley and Dick Straughan leading the station's commentary team. And to get ready for the event, Jack took a trip to Looe for 'Saturday Morning Live' to meet some of the people involved with the town's club.
