What is a Black Hole? And where are they?

Good Morning Wales

Available for over a year

Astronomers have taken the first ever image of a black hole, located in a distant galaxy. It measures 40 billion km across - three million times the size of the Earth - and has been described by scientists as 'a monster'. Good Morning Wales asked Elizabeth Pearson from Sky at Night magazine exactly what Black Holes are - and where they are - and what we might learn from this new image.
