Ben Andrews will eventually lose his sight but it's inspired him to help others

The Dead Good Show

Available for over a year

Ben Andrews is 26 years old and he's been told he will gradually lose all of his sight. He won ‘Citizen of the year’ at the Spirit of Salford awards last month. He helps disabled people access sport and exercise – while suffering from a degenerative sight condition himself. On top of that his mum died of a brain tumour recently and his dad took his own life soon after. Somehow he keeps on going and helping others in the process and has done since he was 17.
