Science In Action

Available for over a year

In 2018, a team from Yale University part-revived pig brains hours after they had been removed from the body. The study showed that by using a machine called BrainEx, the death of brain cells could not only be halted but actually restore brain connections. Professor Hank Greely is the President of the International Neuroethics Society and he has been discussing the ethical concerns with the team at Yale for over two years… (Image: A pig, Credit: Getty Images.)
