'To me she is using victims as a political football'

Good Morning Ulster

Available for over a year

Marty Adams, who was abused at Rathgael training school in Bangor, is from 'Survivors Together'. It is one of several victims' groups that met Karen Bradley this week about compensation for those who have suffered institutional abuse. Senior civil servants have warned that it may take up to two years before any such claims are processed. Different narratives have also emerged over the number of issues politicians need to reach agreement on regarding the compensation issue. The parties are adamant they were given four issues, only to be faced - on Monday - with an additional eleven matters to consider. However the Northern Ireland Office says there were always more than four issues to consult on.
