Nan decides to use technology to share her gap year adventures with her 7 year old granddaughter Mia. Mia and her Nan are best friends and they spend lots of time together. One day, Nan tells Mia that she has decided to go off on a big adventure and Mia is devastated! Seeing Mia so upset gives tech savvy Nan a brilliant idea, to use technology and share the adventure together. As Nan travels from one country to another, they use their tablets to call, skype, send photos and facetime each other. So thanks to Nan’s clever idea and even cleverer technology, Mia gets to see loads of faraway countries and interesting places around the world, but even better than all that, she gets to stay in touch with her best friend, her Nan! This series of Digi Tales on CBeebies Radio aims to highlight the impact (both positive and negative) that technology can have on cross generational and family life from the point of view of our little listeners.
