For a whole generation the words and of Leonard Cohen are deeply embedded into the consciousness. This week a new film is released telling the story of Cohen's time living on the Greek Island of Hydra and his love for Marianne. Marianne and Leonard: Words of Love is in cinemas later this week. Tamar Hodes is a member of the Reformed Jewish community here in the south and last year published her own book about her childhood on the island of Hydra, The Water and Wine.
