Filmmaker Mark Baxter: The Lost Work Of Tubby Hayes

Robert Elms

Available for over a year

Ahead of the release of a previously unissued studio album recorded by iconic jazz saxophonist Tubby Hayes, filmmaker Mark Baxter discusses the history behind the music and how the musician rose to fame. Mark was behind the 2015 documentary 'A Man In A Hurry' which looked closely at Tubby's life and career. 'Grits, Beans and Greens: The Lost Fontana Sessions' was recorded in 1969 and, until recently, was thought to have been lost or destroyed.
