Born in Dunbar, Rosemary Goring went on to study social and economic history at the University of St Andrews. She later became the literary editor of Scotland on Sunday, followed by a spell as editor of Life & Work, the Church of Scotland’s magazine. However she is perhaps best known for her historical novels. Anne Brown caught up with her at the Wigtown Book Festival.
