Sunny and Shay

Available for over a year

The 1910 Chain Makers Strike in Cradley Heath was a watershed moment in the history of equal pay, as Mary Macarthur successfully led female workers in their fight for a minimum wage There's much more to her life just that 10 week strike though and it's all been documented in a new book entitled Mary Macarthur 1880-1921 The Working Woman’s Champion - Righting the Wrong. The book's author Cathy Hunt joined Sunny and Shay.
