Sportsworld

Available for over a year

US Paralympian Scout Bassett explains the trials and tribulations she faced whilst trying to get involved with sports at an early age. Born in China, Bassett lost her leg in a fire when she was just a baby and suffered severe burns over her body. As an orphan she was adopted by an American family. Bassett initially competed in triathlon before making the transition to the track for the Rio Paralympics. Photo: Scout Bassett (ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Images)
