After two young people involved in rehabilitating former convicts were killed on Friday by a convicted terrorist in the London Bridge attack, debate has raged over national security. How can a country like Britain, based on the rule of law, ensure that radicalised terrorists can be safely released? Hanif Qadir is a former al-Qaeda recruit who has worked as an adviser to the UK government and has spent nearly a decade running a counter-radicalisation organisation in London.
