Bill Browder, who founded The Hermitage Fund, was one of Russia’s most successful hedge fund managers. His lawyer, Sergei Magninsky, was killed while in custody by the Russian authorities in 2009, after exposing a tax fraud. Mr Browder then became a target for the Russian authorities and is now a campaigner against human rights abuses and corruption in Russia. He spoke to our reporter, Will Burton.
