Butterflies is one woman’s autobiographical journey through thyroid cancer, and beyond. It explores the commonly associated feelings of ‘butterflies’ - anxiety, anticipation or fear, and the journey of reintegration after a cancer diagnosis. Writer/actor Lorna Nickson Brown developed Butterflies with the support of thyroid cancer patients across the world. In it she asks what it means to speak. What it means to be fearless. And how our ultimate truth can be found in the most unlikely places. An honest, life-affirming piece about connection, truth and the power of love to liberate.
