Sport Today

Available for over a year

The next Africa Cup of Nations, due to be hosted in Cameroon, will be played in January and February next year, in the middle of the Premier League season. It means the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Wilfried Zaha, Wilfred Ndidi and Riyad Mahrez could miss up to six Premier League games next season. So what does this mean for players and managers? John Bennett is joined by former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp, ex-DR Congo captain Gabriel Zakuani and Patrick Suffo, who was part of Cameroon’s 2002 AFCON-winning squad.
