Janet and Timandra are mother and daughter. Janet has had a varied career from telephonist to playgroup leader, funeral director and court usher. Timandra is immensely proud of her mother’s career choices. In turn Janet wanted her daughters to have the education and opportunities she herself didn’t have, and is very proud of Timandra for having had two careers – firstly in management consulting and now in theatre production. However she is rueful that in having successful careers the girls have all moved away from home
