Wande wants to bring gospel hip-hop with positive wholesome lyrics to a mainstream audience as an alternative to the highly sexualised explicit rap that’s prevalent. And it seems to be the perfect time, as some of the biggest rappers in the world like Kanye West, Chance The Rapper and Stormzy are including gospel and talking about faith in their music.
