Air Traffic Control at City of Derry Airport

The Breakfast Show

Available for over a year

Tuesday marked the 100th anniversary of air traffic control. In fact the UK was the first nation in the world to put the concept in place after a letter from the UK Air Ministry demanded a way of controlling the increasing number of planes in the skies above Britain. Our reporter Anna Curran got a behind the scenes look at the work of air traffic control at City of Derry Airport.
