In the 1988 Seoul Olympics, Great Britain’s hockey men won Olympic gold for the only time since the war. Sean Kerly scored a hat-trick in the 3-2 semi-final win over Australia, then another goal to add to Imran Sherwani’s double in the final as West Germany were beaten 3-1.
