Experience Classical

Available for over a year

Manuel de Falla's 'El Amor Brujo' ('Love, the Magician') transports us to the heat and passion of Spain through the music's distinctly Andalusian character and songs in the Andalusian Spanish dialect of the gypsies. The work is notably a one-movement ballet, full of music of incredible originality and beauty. This, along with the work's themes of love and magic, have made it one of the composer's most popular. The section 'Cancion del Fuego Fatuo' was recorded by Mile Davis as 'Will O' the Wisp' for his Sketches of Spain album.
