Experience Classical

Available for over a year

Of the five piano concertos that Prokofiev wrote, the exciting Third has gained the greatest popularity and critical acclaim. The first movement is exuberant and full of rhythmic vitality and the second displays Prokofiev's sarcastic wit. The finale is an argument between the soloist and orchestra before ending with a flourish on a fortissimo chord. Composer: Sergei Prokofiev Performers: ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Philharmonic Orchestra Performer: Simon TrpÄeski (Piano) Conductor: Vasily Sinaisky Recording date: 07 March 2002
