Available for over a year

Luca Mazzolini lives in Bergamo, Italy. The country was one of the worst-hit parts of Europe in the early stages of the pandemic, and Bergamo one of the most-affected cities. Luca lost his father, Mario Mazzolini, in Bergamo on 20 March 2020. He was 72 years old. Luca describes his father's passion for travelling and football and how he hopes his father will continue to watch the game with him "from above". 11 September 2020 marks six months since Covid-19 was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
