It’s a special edition of the show as Jo is behind the scenes at the Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham. 2020 marked the 75th anniversary of the theatre, but Jo also found out about the history of the building which was once home to a salts laboratory. In the Festival Flashback Jo chats to novelist Jojo Moyes at the 2019 Cheltenham Literature Festival who took inspiration for one book from the Packhorse Librarians of Kentucky in the 1930s. And the next item to go into Jo’s virtual museum is found at the Museum in the Park in Stroud and helps tell the story of Stroud’s animation industry.
